Sweet Dreams!

I absolutely love the sophistication (not to mention the comfort) of a upholstered headboard.  Finding  a plethora of styles, sizes, and colors at Target.com is easy.  Especially at these prices, including extra savings through September 26th!

This tufted beauty is available in eight fun hues, sure to be the centerpiece of a boudoir fit for a queen!  I’d love to see this lilac in a teenage girl’s room, with some some hot pink pillows, silver accents, glued together with some bold black & white graphics.  No need to break the royal bank at $280.49.

The Uptown is more my (and my husband’s) style!  With nine fabric colors from which to choose, I gotta have the king-size in black so the nail heads really pop!  Or, I could create an inviting guest room or stylish kids room with two twins!  With prices starting at just $212.49, why not?

Cheap Seats!

All of my favorite cheap seats are  well-made, comfortable, and easy on the eyes (kind of like my husband) .  Listed in no particular order, I really love all of these chairs and would use any or all of them in my home or office.  Every chair is about $100.00 or less!

0093879_PE231486_S3 Lounge Chair:  IKEA’s Poang chair is a classic.  With a starting price of $89.00 ($109.00 as shown), you’d be hard pressed to find another seat that functions as well in almost any living space in the home!  Choose from several wood finishes for the birch bentwood frame then select the fabric for the cushion.  Add a coordinating footstool for a measly $39.00 to relax in complete cheap chic style.

See IKEA’s website for more on how to order or to find a store near you.  As with most items from IKEA, assembly is required!

OhChairInkBlue_l Stacking Chair:  Umbra’s Oh! Chair (just have a seat in one to find out how designer Karim Rashid came up with the name) is perfect for apartments, tweens’ and teens’ rooms, college dorms, offices, or just extra seating anywhere!  Constructed of tough polypropylene with sturdy powder-coated steel legs, this seat is light weight and easy to stack and store.  Oh!  It’s only $49.00!

Available at The Container Store near you and and at www.containerstore.com in white, black, and my son’s favorite, ink blue.

fabricparsons 2 Overstock Upholstered Dining Chair:  No matter the style, a parson’s chair is a easy fit for any dining room (also a great office chair or game table chair).  This one has a bit of a contemporary edge, while maintaining a soft spoken sophistication.  Covered in a neutral olive fabric and constructed of solid poplar with industrial springs for durability.  Well-made and comfy, it looks and feels much more expensive that it is at $85.00 (sold in pairs only for $169.99)!

Order yours at Overstock.com and pay just $2.95 for shipping!  That’s right, just $2.95!

Super Stool:   Need seating at the kitchen breakfast bar?  In the craft/sewing room?  How about in the workroom/garage?  Crate & Barrel’s Spin Barstools to the rescue!  Not only good looking, but hardworking in a sharp brushed aluminum finish.  The ball-bearings under the seat give you a smooth 360-degree spin at either 24” ($99.95) or 30” ($109) high.

If you are a furniture lover, I encourage you to take a trip to the nearest Crate & Barrel store to buy.  If you’ve been, then you know.  If you haven’t, you gotta go!   If circumstances do not allow,  purchase online at CrateandBarrel.com.

I do love each of the featured seats and each represents how you can achieve a fabulous look without going broke!  After all, good design is for everyone!
